It is also one of the rare viewpoints that belongs a lodge. But it needs a bit of luck to get a room there which can give you a view of the Himalayas in the morning from the comfort of your sleeping bag. The place also offers an amazingly scenic breakfast. We need to walk 6 days of trekking to reach Khopra Danda.

A rocky peak, 5,357m above sea level, Gokyo Ri is the slightly lesser-known, and slightly farther away viewpoint of Everest compared to Kala Patthar. From here the view of Everest and other mountain range are amazing, and some even consider it the best point for mountain view as more of the surrounding mountains can be observed, including 3additional 8,000m peaks: Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Trekking to Gokyo Ri takes about 14 days round trip from Lukla, via Namche Bazaar and Gokyo Lake.
