Annapurna Region

Annapurna region is the home of treks in Nepal. It comes next to the Everest region in terms of popularity. Annapurna region was described as a Conservation area in 1986. It covers an area of 7600 sq. km. You can do a short as well as long trek in Annapurna. The world’s highest lake, the Tilicho Lake, is in the Annapurna region. This trek gives a vivid glimpse of top mountains like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna 1, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Tukche, and Southern Annapurna. Even the village’s remote trails have sophisticated guest houses that serve with warm hospitality. Poon Hill station gives a view of sunrise and sunset in the mountains. It is also a pilgrimage for the Buddhist monastery of Barga and Muktinath. The hot spring of tatopani holds great religious values. Throng-La is the spot from where you get sight-seeing of the Himalayas. Mountain biking is popular in Mustang with road construction that has shortened the trail.
