Annapurna Region

Annapurna region is the home of treks in Nepal. It comes next to the Everest region in terms of popularity. Annapurna region was described as the Conservation area in 1986. It covers area of 7600 sq. km. You can do short as well as long trek in Annapurna. The world’s highest lake called the Tilicho Lake is in Annapurna region. This trek gives a vivid glimpse of top mountains like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Annapurna 1, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, Tukche, Southern Annapurna. Even the remote trails of village has sophisticated guest house who serves with warm hospitality. Poon Hill station gives view of sunrise and sunset in the mountains. It is also a pilgrimage for Buddhist monastery of Barga and Muktinath. The hot spring of tatopani holds great religious values. Throng-La is the spot from where you get sight-seeing of the Himalayas. Mountain biking is popular in Mustang with road construction that has shortened the trail.
