The peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal, standing over 6460 meters. It offers a great Himalayan summit thrill and presents the finest view of Himalayan Vista. It is situated on the edge of the famous Khumbu region from where one can get a remarkable view of Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu, and other Himalayan peaks.
The Amphu Lapcha pass requires technical climbing ability to cross safely. Firstly, The climbing guides will fix ropes so you can abseil from the crest. Especially, the Nepal-based local Sherpa Company has more than 20 years of climbing experience in this high adventure field. After arriving in Kathmandu and checking in we plan for our trek and the next day we fly from Kathmandu to Lukla to start Mera peak climbing through Amphu Lapcha pass. Then, we trek through the rhododendron forest towards Mera Base camp from Tangnang. Here, We will get acclimatized and receive climbing training. Then, we trek to Mera Base Camp, move to a high camp, and stay overnight at a tented camp.
Similarly, the next morning is the summit day early start to Mera peak top. The following day is the contingent day. Then, we trek to Kongma Dingma and rest. Further, we move to Seto Pokhari from Kongma Dingma. Then, from Seto Pokhari to Amphu Lapcha base camp. After this, from Amphu Lapcha base camp, we move to Chhukung. Then Chhukung to Tengboche and Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar to Lukla, Flyback to Kathmandu, and finally depart.
