Trip Overview

Annapurna means the “Goddess mother of harvests”. You can take a glimpse of this 8000-meter summit from Phewa Lake in Pokhara. A six-day trek over the terrace hillsides strewn with picturesque villages, the dark gorge of Modi Khola is required to reach this gorgeous glacier-filled mountain. From Annapurna base camp you can have a close view of Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Machhapuchhre.5000m above Annapurna base camp is the Rakshi peak from where you can get a distinct view of Annapurna South Peak. It has the base camp for expeditions and also a favorite place for trekking destinations and mountain lovers.
