Best Time to Visit Manaslu Trek

Arrival in Kathmandu(1,400m)

After landing at the airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Once you check in, you can relax after your journey or step to explore the lively streets nearby. Later, a short meeting will be arranged to explain the trek and make sure everything is ready.

Drive to Machha Khola (930m)

Leaving the city behind, the road winds through hills, rivers, and scattered villages. Along the way, you will see terraced farmland and everyday rural life. The drive is long but scenic, gradually bringing you closer to the starting point of the trek.

Trek to Jagat (1340m)

Walk: 6–7 hours
The trek begins with a pleasant walk along the river, crossing suspension bridges and passing small settlements. The sound of flowing water and views of waterfalls make the day enjoyable as you slowly gain altitude.

Trek to Deng (1860m) 

Walk: 6–7 hours
Today’s trail moves through forested areas and narrow paths carved into the hillsides. You will cross several bridges and walk through quiet villages, noticing a gradual change in culture and landscape as you go deeper into the region.

Walk: 6–7 hours
The route climbs steadily, offering cooler air and better mountain views. Traditional houses, prayer flags, and carved stones begin to appear more frequently, reflecting the strong Tibetan influence in this part of the trek.

Trek to LHO (3180m) 

Walk: 4–5 hours
As you continue higher, the scenery becomes more open and dramatic. On a clear day, you can enjoy impressive views of Mount Manaslu. Lho is a peaceful village with a monastery and a calm mountain atmosphere.

From Dharapani, you will continue by jeep to Besisahar, a journey of about 3–4 hours. The drive follows rugged country roads, offering scenic views of waterfalls, terraced paddy fields, and rural villages along the way, making it a memorable off-road experience before arriving in Besisahar.. From Besisahar, the route continues on a paved highway to Kathmandu, passing through hills and valleys with stunning views of peaks like Mount Manaslu, Annapurna II & III, Machhapuchhre, and Lamjung..
