Trip Overview

Langtang Gosaikunda trek offers an eye-catching view of landscapes, Himalayan passes, pristine valley and diverse ethnic-culture of this region. Passing by Trishuli River you come across Trishuli bazar to Syabrubesi. From here you start the Langtang Gosaikunda trek. You trek to Kyanjin Gompa from where you can see Monasteries, Sherpa village. The holy Lake Gosaikunda is divine among Hindus and Buddhists. It has many visitors on the full moon night of August. It has a religious connection with Hindu deity Lord Shiva. There is a white rock under the water which is said to be a remnant of an ancient Shiva shrine. Crossing the Laurebinayak Pass we leave the Langtang region behind and trek to Kutumsang, Chisapani, and Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu and rest. The next day will be the final departure to fly back home from TIA.

Arrive in Kathmandu(1345 meters) and Transfer to hotel

Our company guide will be there at Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome you. Meet and Greet, transfer to the Hotel. Rest Day free for own activities. Overnight in the hotel.

Sightseeing around Kathmandu and trek preparation

Half Day sightseeing of various famous world heritage sites which includes Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Afternoon free for trek preparation, shopping & other various own activities. Overnight in Kathmandu. Meals Included:  Breakfast

Drive to Syabru Besi (1,550m/5,100ft);7-8 hours

Early morning drive through a highway to Syabrubesi via Trisuli Bazaar in a local transportation. It’ll be scenic drive with amazing scenery of the vegetation and landscape. Accommodation in Syabru Besi. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek to Lama Hotel(2,380m/7,830ft);6-7 hours

Today is the first day of our trekking. We’ll leave our hotel after breakfast. The trek will begin by crossing the bridge of Bhotekoshi river. The trail will be easy to navigate as we’ll follow the Langtang river most of the time. Accommodation in Lama Hotel. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek to Langtang Village(3340m/10,958ft);5-6 hours

Leaving Lama Hotel behind we’ll starts with a gentle climb towards Langtang Village. During the trek one can have a beautiful view of Langtang Lirung, Naya Kang and many other sub-ranges. Also on the trail there we’ll pass through the blooming rhododendron forest which will be an amazing. Accommodation in Langtang Village. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870m/12,697ft);4-5 hours

After breakfast we’ll continue up to the Kyanjin Gompa. The village of Kyanjing is one of the culturally rich and significant settlements with an elongated amphitheatre surrounded by magnificent snow-capped peaks. Accommodation in Kyanjin Gompa. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Explore Tserko Ri (5,000m/16,404ft);7-8 hours

Acclimatization and exploration day which will be a great alpine experience. We begin early in the morning with a hike towards Tserko Ri through yak pastures. The sunrise from the Tserko Ri is magnificient. We’ll explore around the Taserko Ri and return back to Kyangjin Gompa by late afternoon. Accommodation in Kyanjin Gompa. Trek down to Lama Hotel;6-7 hours

Today we’ll trek back to the Lama Hotel. So, we’ll start early in morning which will be mostly descending, and we will walk through some of the earlier settlements. Accommodation in Lama Hotel. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek to Thulo Syabru (2,230m/ 7,316 ft);5-6 hours

We begin our trek through the same route to the halfway then we’ll gradually do some uphill walk up to Thulosyabru village. Accommodation in Thulo Syabru. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Thulo Syabru to Shin Gompa(3,330m/10,925ft);3-4 hours

Today we start our trek passing south to Sing Gompa. On the way you can find school, army post and few tea shops. You’ll find a spectacular view during the trek. Accommodation in Shin Gompa. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Shin Gompa to Gosaikunda (4,460m/14,632ft);5-6 hours

Leaving Sing Gompa the trail of today climbs steeply up the ridge. On the trail we get to enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Himalayas range including the Annapurnas, Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu, and Hiunchuli. Gosaikunda is one of the major religious place for hindu devotees, thousands of devotees travel every year and take bath in this holy river. Accommodation in Gosaikunda. Gosaikunda to Ghopte (3,440m/11,286ft): 7-8 hours

Today we’ll explore around this religious sites see the sunrise then start our trek towards the village of Ghopte. Accommodation in Ghopte. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Ghopte to Kutumsang (2,540m/8,333ft);6-7 hours

After breakfast we’ll trek to the village of Kutumsang which is mostly downhill. The trek will trek around 6-7 hours depending upon the person. Accommodation in Kutumsang. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek to Chisapani(2,230m/7,316ft);6-7 hours

Today is the second last day of our trek so, after breakfast we’ll trek towards the Chisapani. Chisapani is one of the most popular hiking destinations near from Kathmandu. Accommodation in Chisapani. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Trek from Chisapani to Sundarijal then drive to Kathmandu

Today is the shortest and the last day of trekking. We’ll trek toward the Sundarijal which will take around three hours then from Sundarijal we’ll take a local transportation and drive to Kathmandu which will takes around 1-2 hours. We’ll have our lunch in Sundarijal. Reaching Kathmandu you’ll have rest time or one can go for shopping. Accommodation in Kathmandu. Meals Included:  Breakfast, Lunch

Final departure via. TIA.

Last day of our Journey. After Breakfast our representative will  transfer you to airport three hours early before as flight schedule for onward journey. Meals Included: Breakfast
