Langtang Gosaikunda trek offers an eye-catching view of landscapes, Himalayan passes, pristine valleys, and the diverse ethnic culture of this region. Passing by the Trishuli River you come across Trishuli Bazar to Syabrubesi. From here you start the Langtang Gosaikunda trek. You trek to Kyanjin Gompa from where you can see Monasteries and Sherpa village. The holy Lake Gosaikunda is divine among Hindus and Buddhists. It has many visitors on the full moon night of August. It has a religious connection with the Hindu deity Lord Shiva. There is a white rock under the water which is said to be a remnant of an ancient Shiva shrine. Crossing the Laurebinayak Pass we leave the Langtang region behind and trek to Kutumsang, Chisapani, and Sundarijal and drive to Kathmandu and rest. The next day will be the final departure to fly back home from TIA.

Today is the first day of our trekking. We’ll leave our hotel after breakfast. The trek will begin by crossing the bridge of Bhotekoshi river. The trail will be easy to navigate as we’ll follow the Langtang river most of the time. Accommodation in Lama Hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Leaving Lama Hotel behind we’ll starts with a gentle climb towards Langtang Village. During the trek one can have a beautiful view of Langtang Lirung, Naya Kang and many other sub-ranges. After breakfast we’ll continue up to the Kyanjin Gompa. The village of Kyanjing is one of the culturally rich and significant settlements with an elongated amphitheatre surrounded by magnificent snow-capped peaks. Accommodation in Kyanjin Gompa. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Acclimatization and exploration day which will be a great alpine experience. We begin early in the morning with a hike towards Tserko Ri through yak pastures. The sunrise from the Tserko Ri is magnificient. We’ll explore around the Taserko Ri and return back to Kyangjin Gompa by late afternoon. Accommodation in Kyanjin Gompa. Today we’ll trek back to the Lama Hotel. So, we’ll start early in morning which will be mostly descending, and we will walk through some of the earlier settlements. Accommodation in Lama Hotel. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We begin our trek through the same route to the halfway then we’ll gradually do some uphill walk up to Thulosyabru village. Accommodation in Thulo Syabru. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today we start our trek passing south to Sing Gompa. On the way you can find school, army post and few tea shops. You’ll find a spectacular view during the trek. Accommodation in Shin Gompa. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Leaving Sing Gompa the trail of today climbs steeply up the ridge. On the trail we get to enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the Himalayas range including the Annapurnas, Langtang, Ganesh, Manaslu, and Hiunchuli. Gosaikunda is one of the major religious place for hindu devotees, thousands of devotees travel every year and take bath in this holy river. Accommodation in Gosaikunda. Today we’ll explore around this religious sites see the sunrise then start our trek towards the village of Ghopte. Accommodation in Ghopte. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast we’ll trek to the village of Kutumsang which is mostly downhill. The trek will trek around 6-7 hours depending upon the person. Accommodation in Kutumsang. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today is the second last day of our trek so, after breakfast we’ll trek towards the Chisapani. Chisapani is one of the most popular hiking destinations near from Kathmandu. Accommodation in Chisapani. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Today is the shortest and the last day of trekking. We’ll trek toward the Sundarijal which will take around three hours then from Sundarijal we’ll take a local transportation and drive to Kathmandu which will takes around 1-2 hours. We’ll have our lunch in Sundarijal. Reaching Kathmandu you’ll have rest time or one can go for shopping. Accommodation in Kathmandu. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch
Last day of our Journey. After Breakfast our representative will transfer you to airport three hours early before as flight schedule for onward journey. Meals Included: Breakfast
Trekkers have to provide their own personal clothing and equipment. Some items & kits are available for hire from us like Down Jacket, Sleeping Bags, Tents, etc. The following is the recommended equipment list:
Down or fiber filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers, shirts, and T-shirts, shorts, union suit, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, swimsuit, tracksuit, couple pair of socks, etc.
Lightweight trekking boots – these must be suitable for snow, thick socks, light socks, and camp shoes.
Sunglasses, trekking bag, flashlight with spare batteries, chargers, universal power adaptor, bottle, sun cream, lip salve, lock, day pack, gaiters, etc.
Insect repellant, toilet articles, diary, toilet paper, laundry soap, wet ones, pocket knife, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, memory cards, chargers, private medical kit, etc.
PASSPORT AND VISA
All foreigners except Indians require a visa to enter Nepal. A visa for Nepal can be obtained on arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu and at the border entry points in Kakadvitta, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Gaddachowki on the Nepal-India border, and Kodari on the Nepal-China border.
Outside of Nepal, A visa can even be obtained at the closest Nepal Embassy or delegacy.
To renew a Visa you’ll be able to head to the Department of Immigration, Kalikasthan, Kathmandu.

COST
The current cost of the visa fee is US $40 for 30 days which needs to be paid in cash on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Citizens of China and therefore the SAARC countries will receive a free visa.
