01

Arrival in Paro followed by a scenic drive to Thimphu.

Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative and complete permit formalities. Afterward, enjoy a scenic drive to Thimphu, passing beautiful Paro valley views, rivers, and traditional villages.
On arrival in Thimphu, check in to your hotel and relax. Later, visit the National Memorial Chorten, an important religious monument dedicated to world peace and the memory of the Third King of Bhutan. Then explore the Authentic Bhutanese Crafts Market, a great place to experience local arts and shop for souvenirs.

Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your full-day sightseeing in Thimphu. Visit the Buddha Dordenma Statue, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world, offering breathtaking views of the valley. Continue to the Takin Preserve Centre, home to Bhutan’s national animal.
Later, hike to Wangditse Lhakhang, a peaceful temple overlooking Thimphu valley. End the day at the Simply Bhutan Museum, where you can experience traditional Bhutanese lifestyle, culture, and interactive exhibits.

Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast, drive towards Punakha crossing the beautiful Dochula Pass (3,100m), famous for its 108 stupas and panoramic Himalayan views on clear days.
Upon reaching Punakha, visit the magnificent Punakha Dzong, located at the confluence of the Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers. Next, walk across the scenic Punakha Suspension Bridge, one of the longest in Bhutan decorated with prayer flags.
Later, hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple), a sacred site believed to bless couples with children.

Punakha to Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive back to Paro. Stop at the airport viewpoint for sweeping views of the valley. Visit the fascinating National Museum of Bhutan to discover Bhutan’s cultural treasures. Continue to the sacred Kyichu Lhakhang and the beautiful Rinpung Dzong, one of Bhutan’s finest architectural landmarks.
