Mt. Amadablam is one of the most stunning mountain peaks at the center of Khumbu Valley in Nepal. Due to its unique shape ascending the peak is a dream of many climbers world Wide. It offers panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu. The expedition of Mt. Amadablam peak is technically demanding. Climbers should have prior experience of climbing on rocks and ice. Amadablam is also known as “Matterhorn of the Himalaya”. The South-western ridge is suitable for the standard ascent. The climb is moderate initially but is challenging at the granite ridge. There are three high camps that are set up at strategic points. The route gets more technical at 2nd camp with pitches of steep ice and snow slopes. At the highest camp, you will come across snow arête and a crevasse at edges between ice cliffs. After the scaling summit, we return to base camp. This expedition demand at least one month of your time with a good level of physical fitness.
