Everest Base Camp Lobuche East
Lobuche is a small settlement near Mt. Everest in the Khumbu region of Nepal. Lobuche has an elevation of about 4940 meters. It is situated 150 kilometers east of Kathmandu. It is 8.5 Kilometers South West of Everest base camps. Lobuche East climb is a bit more challenging than the Island Peak climb however the entire experience is also a very fruitful one. From the summit, you get a magnificent view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and Pumori. The trip will also lead you to the most popular places in the Everest region like Kala Patthar, from where you can get a rare view of the Everest summit.
